The funds raised through boarding go straight into the Rescue fund, without this income the Rescue would struggle to survive.

The rates for boading your guinea pig or rabbit at the Wheek & Squeak Hotel are very reasonable.  ALL RABBITS SHOULD HAVE UP TO DATE VACCINATION CERTIFICATE FOR VHD (ANNUALLY)  AND MYXOMATOSIS (6 MONTHLY).

Hutches are 4 feet x 2 feet with night shutters when needed.  There are also larger hutches, 5 feet x 2 feet and 6 feet x 2 feet, available for larger bonded groups of guinea pigs or rabbits.  They are all made of 9mm ply and log lap.  Indoor cages are also available if your guinea pigs live indoors.

*As is it not possible to stock all the various makes of dried food I do ask that owners supply their own.

I use Megazorb for bedding but am happy to use any bedding of your choice.

The Wheek & Squeak Guinea Pig and Rabbit Boarding is covered by insurance.

Garden runs.  The runs I had made especially to my specifications.  They have an area where they can feel secure, if required, wire round three sides to give them plenty of light and a hinged solid top which will protect them from direct sun all day and if there is a few drops of rain for a minute or two they are completely sheltered from that too.  The other nice thing about them is they all stack on top of each other when not in use.

These are the news runs that are specifically made with rabbits in mind.   They are three feet high so there is plenty of room for them to climb on boxes etc.  They do have the choice to go onto grass but being on stable matting means they can be cleaned and washed down thoroughly before the next resident.  Also there is no danger in them burrowing out and escaping.

These rates are per day or part thereof.

 

Special rates given for larger number of bonded guinea pigs and stays over 28 days.

Complimentary nail trim to any guinea pigs or rabbits, boarders or non boarders.

 

On the day that your guinea pig or rabbit is due in for boarding you will need to arrange a time to bring them in.  Please be prompt, as at peak holiday times there will probably be another appointment after yourself and I cannot deal with two appointments at the same time.  If you are going to be more than 20 minutes late please phone and let me know.  If I have not heard from you I cannot guarantee that I will be available 45 minutes after your appointment.

 

Also when visiting please respect our neighbours and, if possible, park either in our drive or outside our house.
