Wheek & Squeak

If you feel you would like to help or be involved with the Wheek & Squeak Guinea Pig Rescue, there are various things you can do:

We have a new Sponsorship Scheme up and running now where you can sponsor one of our permanent residents. For £30 a year you will get our Newsletter, details and photo of your sponsored piggy, and invited to our open afternoons held during the year.  You will also be welcome to pop in from time to time to give your piggy a cuddle (please see sponsorship page).  Please contact us for an application form.

Would you like to be come a Friends of the Wheek & Squeak where you would get our Newsletter and invited to our open afternoons all for as little as £1 per month.  Please contact us for an application form.

Donations of food, hay, bedding etc are always very welcome.

Do you have a few hours free where you could help clean hutches, help with feeding,  or help with the nervous pigs so they get used to being handled etc OR could you come on a regular basis and help out.

Admin is alway behind so if anyone is clever with their computer and could help with designing forms, labels or even help out with the newsletter, that would be a great help.

Would you be able to do homechecks of prospective new owners.

Could you put out some cards in your local vets, pet shop or shop windows.

During the rest of this year (2009) we will be attending Fares and Bazaars and we would welcome items for our tombola (cuddle toys, bottles, unwanted gifts etc etc)  Also is anyone good at making cakes, jams etc for us to sell at these events, the dates are 31st October and 5th December.

Would you like to purchase a car sticker they are £2.50 + 70p p & p.

Last but not least we are always in need of all sorts of stationery etc all types of paper, envelopes, plastic wallets etc
